US President Donald Trump says Russia has made a “pretty big concession” to end the war in Ukraine by stopping short of taking the “whole country.”

It’s even dumber than that. Because, using the same parallel, he didn’t do it only because she kicked him in the balls and pulled out a knife (meaning: Ukraine defended itself, it was not Moscow’s decision to stop).

Maybe half of you shouldn’t of stayed home to ‘punish Kamala’?

People who didn’t vote are just as guilty as those who voted for Trump.

Especially the ones who refused to vote for her on the basis of the genocide in Palestine as if Trump wasn’t just as bad or worse in supporting Israel and as if the American establishment hadn’t always supported Israel. That idea that somehow not voting for her in that election would improve a single thing about that genocide was so stupid.

It doesn’t really matter if Israel became news, the only thing relevant to the election should have been if voting Harris, Trump or not voting was likely to have different outcomes for the topic of the genocide and there was no reason to believe that there was a chance of that.

Okay I’ll take the bait. Thought we’re done with this bullshit discussion.

Maybe Kamala should have given a fuck about Palestinians. Why do you leave out the part where she showed the middle finger to her own voters whenever she could, same as Biden? People have been telling the dems for a year to support Palestine or lose their vote, but the dems were willing to lose the election over Palestine and they did. The democrats betrayed their voters, not the other way around.

I guess those voters gave no fucks about either Palestinians or Ukrainians, considering both of those genocides have gotten worse under Trump.

Nice deflection. Classic “blame the voter” propaganda. You’re using a false dilemma to avoid addressing the actual issue: Dems actively funded and supported the genocide despite massive protests from their base.

Trump being bad doesn’t absolve Harris/Dems of responsibility for their own actions. Democratic leadership chose genocide over winning. They gambled that voters had no choice but to vote for them anyway. They lost that bet.

And with this I’m out, no time for blue MAGA.

Democratic leadership chose genocide over winning.

The Democrats do not, and have never supported genocide.

Funny, because the Republican party enthusiastically endorses genocide at home and abroad and apparently that is not worth any outcry or opposition according to you.

And with this I’m out, no time for blue MAGA.

MAGA cosplaying as a ‘concerned’ Democrat.

The world is held hostage by three sociopaths, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu. Two of them are war criminals, and the third is waiting to happen at any moment.

I don’t want to excuse Netanyahu here. He certainly belongs behind bars in my opinion. However, he only holds a part of the world hostage rather than all of it. I see him on par with folks like Kim Jon Un or Mohamed bin Salman rather than Trump or Putin.

I agree, the third big single powerful person is certainly Xi. I suppose one can say the “sociopath” is more evident with Netanyahu than Xi, because for now China is able to sit back and let Russia and USA self sabotage to a weaker position while mucking with the rest of the world, while China gets to play comparative good guy in foreign policy. This is of course grading on a curve, they aren’t saints either.

I was about to say, they tried. They have been trying for three years. They’ve committed a TON more forces than Ukraine, and still haven’t made significant progress. The invasion is a military failure on pretty much every level, and it’s only the most delusional that think Russia still has any chance of actually pulling off a successful annexation or occupation for any significant length of time.

They’ll fall in line behind him but it won’t be the same. With the eyeliner and the fictitious origin story, I’d fully expect President Vance to go full Gaddafi and get dragged up with increasingly flamboyant uniforms that’d make Elton John look like an accountant.

The Republicans will be all too busy backstabbing each other for the foreseeable future in such a scenario. Trump is in the position he is in now because a majority of GOP voters have a stupid fucking cultish worship of him and nobody else. They tried pushing for other less erratic GOP candidates, but they had managed to brainwash their moronic voters so effectively that they are no longer capable of worshipping anyone else but Trump.

As soon as he is gone, it is going to be a free-for-all among the Republicans, an absolute clusterfuck of a fight to become the next Trump and Vance is not going to be even remotely close to being a candidate for that. He is Trumps pick because he is a spineless vapid non-entity with even less brains than Trump himself. He will not be in a position to do much except getting betrayed by his own party for the rest of the term.

Trump the coward. The definition of ‘getting peace’ is to just make the smaller side capitulate to the bigger one. And then act surprised when said peace doesn’t hold long.

No surprises that Russia is volunteering to mediate the Iran-US conflict either. Friends always watch each other’s backs.

A mediator doesn’t take sides. It’s the most basic principle. If you’re gonna do that - taking the easiest and cowardly way - just step aside and let more competent people handle it before you make an even bigger mess. Some ‘help’ simply isn’t worth the hassle.

And Russia did not take more land for a simple reason - not because of concessions or kindness, but because the small David held their ground against the Goliath invading them. It’s that simple, nepo crybaby.
