Russia supported the Assad regime in Syria.
So, yes things can get much worse.
It didn’t go through without pushback. Soldiers and officers resisted. I resisted. But that’s what happens when the senior command doesn’t care and the politicians even less. That’s what happens when you’re quick on the trigger and operationally burned-out to the max. That’s what happens when you’re in an unending war that fails to bring the hostages back alive month after month. You lose moral judgment.
Thought that part was interesting.
Friendly reminder that Russian, Chinese, and other Dictatorships’ state media outlets are ecstatic that Krasnov is gutting VOA.
Because the Russian Federation is a belligerent nation undermining EU institutions1, carrying out acts of sabotage on EU soil2, threatening nuclear war regularly3, threatening to reconquer EU member states4, and conducting genocide in Ukraine5.
And that is not to mention that actions taken by Kremlin assets in the US and Hungary.
