Totally agreed. He has a blog detailing the progress, but it has not mentioned it yet. And then there is the github, but I am shocked that major tech media sidestepped the potential inclusion of AI.
He mentioned in the video that its the possibility of integration, and its just an app you can choose to install or not - the app I’m fine with. Baking it into the OS of the watch is an instant cancelation of order from me. Its a bloody watch with a few extra features, I dont want it to talk, Or think, or do anything but tell time and show me notifications from my phone so I know if I can’t ignore it.
