I’m legit expecting the balkanization of the US in a few years. I’m not exaggerating. I was born here, grew up here, and live here. I’m starting to lay some groundwork for short-notice emigration to Europe. Our courts and legislature are effectively captured by the fascists at this point, who are also in charge of the executive branch. This place is falling apart in a meaningful way, and it’s going to get a LOT worse before it gets better - if it even can get better, and I’m not convinced it can.
Yeah but turning China into a democracy will be harder than returning the US to what it has been, a constitutional law-based society.
