The problem with falling house prices is for the people who recently purchased. Imagine buying a home for $500k and 1 year later you still owe $475k on it and it’s only worth $450k.
Eventually people say fuck it, and declare bankruptcy to get over an upside down mortgage.
If enough people do that then the banks fail. If enough banks fail then there’s cascading effects across the economy which can lead to mass layoffs, failing businesses, and other crises.
If collapse is what you want then yeah let then fall. But there’s a lot more pain in collapse than you realize.

Yes I was active duty during Obama’s administration and there was only one government shutdown that I can recall.
I think military missed 1 paycheck IIRC and my Navy Federal Credit Union fronted us the money until the back pay kicked in.
This is a huge step in the right direction… All these post docs funding their research with federal grants then when they discover/create a successful drug they price it as if they funded the research themselves.

Dual boot sucks in the long run. Every time you run a system update on windows or Linux you run the risk of messing up your boot loader.
I recommend not dual booting. Either use a VM for windows or have a dedicated machine that’s windows only.
