I think some of the text used stolen might be from fanfiction, which is where I saw em dashes used to death throughout the years before LLMs became a thing.

The badly-drawn hands thing is frustrating because any artist can tell you it’s not so easy to draw realistic/accurate hands. So, sometimes you might see genuine art with “weird” hands, and it’s painful for the artist to be accused of using AI.
Oh so that’s why I got it! I was wondering why I was so special. 😂
Oh I noticed this yesterday or earlier today, and I was wondering if I was the only one seeing this bug.
Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.
Oh, since you had said “it’s just for displaying photos” I figured you just wanted portraits. 😅
The only major allergy I have, I developed very randomly one night in my teens. I was hanging out with friends, I always loved cats, and they had this adorable cat that got super sweet with me. Next thing I know, my eyes are almost swollen shut. I’ve never been able to touch cats again.
So you could become a cannibal with no problems, then?
Yeah, where I’m from, you either pass things down to family and friends, or resell them, there’s no throwing tech away.
I have no hope of ever having a normal relationship with them. I avoid talking about myself, my thoughts and feelings, and just nod and bite my tongue. The world won’t change if I make them see the truth, so I’m not going to bother trying, just to bring more issues between us and risk being alienated even further.
Really depends on where you live. If you’re not in the first world, you don’t just find tech gadgets randomly on the street.
Is it because digital portraits aren’t available in your country? Or because you’re not aware they exist? Because they do, and they’re not as expensive as tablets.
DualSense (PS5) for me works right out of the box, especially in PC ports of PS games. It’s USB-A to USB-C, so no prop cables.
Any difference in edition will be obvious in the runtime. If the movie is 1:29:43 in the theatrical edition and there’s a special edition that adds some time, say, a total of 1:47:13 runtime, you’ll want to ensure that the Latino audio you’re ripping is of the same edition. But the English and dub tracks will always be the same length for the same edition. Generally the Wiki articles of movies/shows have the runtimes. Or the fandom wikis.
Afterwards you can just merge the audio and video tracks into one container file (MKV, MP4, etc.).
I’m using Pop! OS 22.04, I’m happy with it. It’s a good distro for gaming, BUT… lately there have been a lot of issues with the NVIDIA driver, and the Linux 6.16 kernel. I only recommend it if you’re comfortable troubleshooting, using the TTY, and doing other stuff before giving up and deleting your whole drive. 😅
For countries where the currency is unstable, stable currency is a way to protect one’s savings.
Where I’m from, historically you’d save in USD. But in the last few years, the market has imposed dumb obstacles, like the paper notes being completely unblemished (something that isn’t even a thing in the US, as far as I’m aware). That’s where stablecoins have been useful for the locals.
Edit: This is an explanation, not an endorsement of crypto.
I’ve used Windows since version 95. I even learned how to use version 3.1 back in the day (people actually used to take classes for using the PC!). Every new version after 98 was a pain in the ass, they’d get rid of a lot of functionality, change menus, and add crap no one asked for. XP might be a nostalgic memory now, but I thought the UI was horrible at first. Same with 7 and 10.
I first learned about Linux through forums, and then I found out about Canonical sending CDs with Ubuntu for free. So I gave it a try and I liked it. There was a lot of tinkering to do unfortunately. Stuff like the cheap ADSL modem I was given by my ISP weren’t recognized, so I had to dual boot. Eventually I found some file from one dude who had the exact same modem and knew what to do, and so I was able to go online in Ubuntu. (All of that ended up being very useful knowledge, though. If something happens on my computer, I don’t panic anymore, I roll up my sleeves and try to figure out how to fix it.)
I’ve been alternating between Windows and Ubuntu ever since. I switched permanently to Windows 10 a few years ago for some reason I don’t remember. And last year I switched to Pop! OS after finding out about Recall. I was pleasantly surprised by how far gaming has come in Linux, so the switch is permanent this time. I will switch distros, however, once I switch my hardware to AMD.
