Maybe we should be more like the luddites, starting with data centers.

That ad campaign was not about Gaza, it didn’t even resemble anything close to bodybags. It looked like messy artists in a studio. That whole bit was much ado about nothing.
Was it promptly followed by an Israeli bombing?
That is interesting. I bet it was a legitimate attack, but the government’s attempt to cover up their embarrassment (particularly the fleeing “guard”) has muddied the water, as any cover-up will do. I must have missed that one at the time.
This isn’t discussed enough, likely because it doesn’t have the shock and awe that war does, similar to how the relatively small amount of violent crime hits the news while all the vehicular deaths are mostly glossed over. They rarely actually have any effect on the rulers, yet they devastate the populace. Proponents say dumb shit like, “It will cause the people to rebel!” No, it won’t. When you and your children are sick and literally starving, it is difficult to organize resistance, not only physically but also mentally as your cognitive functions suffer as well. That’s also assuming that there is actually a fundamental issue with the government. Many times, sanctions are a cudgel used by western bullies against countries that won’t play ball with extractive economics or other harmful policies. Sometimes, the pain caused to the population is the point because they had the gall to elect leaders the bullies don’t like.
I’m honestly surprised we haven’t seen an assassination by drone from a nonstate actor yet. It’s cheap, would subvert many of the protections aimed at stopping shooters, and security likely wouldn’t react in time or have the equipment to effectively stop it.
After 2042, I wasn’t very interested in this title to begin with so it isn’t much of a loss. Gamers in general don’t really care about rootkits (but will rage over launchers?), but I’m curious to see how well this will do after the trash that was 2042.
So much of forensics is bullshit or not quite as accurate as it’s portrayed to the public. People are already primed to accept information from people with titles/degrees and copaganda television cements that trust in these “experts.”
Absolutely. Linux in general has become very approachable. I recently came back to Linux after 15 years away and I have been very impressed with how well everything just works. I’ve only experienced very minor issues with peripherals that were solved with a simple Google search or update.
Where are people getting this idea that there will ever be any type of trails for this? I’ve even seen some talking about the Hague, which is particularly laughable because the US has an invasion policy specifically regarding the Hague, predating Trump.
Honestly, this whole thing is hilarious. My interest was limited to start with after 2042. Now it doesn’t matter because I can’t play anyway (I’m not playing a shooter on console). Furthermore, it’s apparently a pain in the ass for Windows users, too. The incompetence is really incredible to watch.
