If they did, Trump wouldn’t be reallected and Musk wouldn’t be unofficial president. We wouldn’t be heading towards an inevitable world War 3. People wouldn’t be dying because aid was cut and because weapons are kept on delivered to destructive nazis. But sure, this is the best we can do. Fuck that.
It’s the self destructive thinking that gets me frustrated. By destroying themselves they take down so many others, bringing an insane amount of agony, suffering and death.
I don’t get it. Why do Americans want to hurt themselves so badly? Shooting yourself in the foot? “Nah men, that’s for children.” Russian roulette? “Boooring, why just 1 bullet in the chamber when you can do 6 instead.”
It’s so obvious how your current president with his clown army is set to destroy the country yet the American people were all for it and voted him back, after a horrible first term. Everyone is in support of mega corps and the ultra rich and don’t care it will come out of their own pocket.
And now you’re in support of the EU to ban American services, something which would hurt the country and everyone in it, making it harder for you to get a job, pay for groceries, get proper health care and education, waving away your human rights and freedom of expression.
I’m a European, to me it looks like the movie Idiocracy was an understatement when I look at the US. It’s a country filled with masochist toddlers who argue about how big their graves should be while digging those themselves with lightning speed.
I get it, you’re unhappy with the current situation, but supporting the ones who will hurt you, is going to hurt you. If I was in your situation I’d say “yeah EU, I get it, but it will be at the cost of the American people because those mega corps will take their loss out of our paychecks and welfare.”

Well yeah, but what I wished was that he wouldn’t have invaded in the first place, no totalitarian rulers, no people declaring wars as a dick measuring contest. No Putin in the first place. Putin will never give up and apologize, but hopefully he dies and his replacement would retreat, apologize and help Ukraine fix their country. But the chance of that happening is little to none, the next in line is probably just as bad as Putler.
Fines are so the ultra rich and mega corps have more freedom than others. Rules do not apply to them, they pay for it which is far less than their profits. Fines do not hurt them, it allows them to make more money than smaller competition.

Not just republicans. Democrats in the US are right wing too. The entire country is fucked up, the reps just speed up the process exponentially. But don’t forget the most immigrants who have been thrown out was during Obama and Biden. Biden supported Israel too, with loads of weapons.
It feels a bit weird being on the German side for once, also their track record of succeeding isn’t that great, but I love our neighbors and I fully support them.
I’m just, sad the world is falling into another world war while we also just could be more kind and forgiving towards each other. It would save a lot of lives and leads of pain and agony.
