i can’t imagine criticizing a country for building too much high efficiency mass transit in advance
I mean the Nazis did that in preparation for their Blitzkrieg and the Holocaust so there are real examples why building seemingly overengineered and overly excessive infrastructure can be problematic. And besides a demonstration of power, I think some of those railways are exactly that. To transport troops or masses of prisoners quickly and efficiently. God knows they have enough of those.
I have, but going by several reviews the Switch controller still faires the best for me and I hope the new one will do even better. There just isn’t anything that can compete right now.
That’s something at least. Now Nintendo needs to actually advertise their shop and those deals instead of yet another wave of retro ports.
Though it’s probably worth mentioning I’m not going to buy a Switch 2 anyway. I’m more of an observer from the PC gaming sidelines.
I mean with those price tags you expect games to look better. Anything else would be ridiculous.
To be fair, there is no guarantee you‘ll be able to emulate Switch 2 games as soon and easily as Switch games. You just might, but we really don‘t know for sure.
It‘s interesting they abandoned physical media completely and nobody is talking about it. This makes them a direct competitor to Steam and well… let‘s just say I don‘t see 90% discounts in the Nintendo shop any time soon.
Plus the Switch barely had any exclusive games. For a Nintendo console anyway. Perhaps that‘s something Nintendo is working on now, but I doubt it can compete with PC games in terms of bang you get for your buck. There‘s just no way.
I won’t lie, I’m only interested in the new Pro controller. My old one has slight stick drift which absolutely sucks of course but it’s over 7 years old and feels so much better than anything else on the market. I also prefer the Nintendo button layout over Microsoft’s so it’s an easy purchase.
Partially yes absolutely. Some regions with more and more dams have recently experienced devastating floods, suggesting they‘ve tempered with nature a little too much. And yes, some of those new highspeed rails are barely ever used and mainly serve a symbolic purpose, namely connecting outer regions to the central power in Beijing in some way or form. Nearly nobody uses those and the best case scenario for them would be a war so they can transport masses of troops quickly.
While most April fools steal your time and leave you head scratching, this one can potentially give you a lot of time back. I like it.
I somewhat respect that form of protest, actually. Some users fuming over this is probably the point the admins are trying to make. They created a sort of „and then they came for me…“ situation.
Politicians, parties and even countries should be penalized for repeatedly bringing it up just to be shut down. It‘s a waste of time and waste of money. Things like that shouldn‘t be voted on for at least another 4 years once shut down. And no, just changing the wording doesn‘t make a proposal unique. A big brother law is still a big brother law.
Well you see. Mega projects in authoritarian countries rarely solve actual problem or serve a purpose. They‘re just there to make good headlines and be forgotten because the next mega project or innovation just made the news!
Can you help me improve my framerate?
Sure I can! First try not to run an LLM on your GPU while gaming. Hope that helped!
It‘s especially evident shortly after these announcements. I was looking for a resource to summarize and comment on the Direct but most things I found were posts by what I can only describe as ecstatic fanboys. Honestly I was surprised how little the Switch 2 is actually talked about outside this bubble.
