3·21 hours agoLike MySpace, Reddit, as we knew and loved it, died a long time ago (arguably long before the API scandal). The API scandal was just the straw that broke the camel’s back for many of us.

2·16 days agoTheir EULA states that they log all traffic (originating IP, requested url, and destination IP). for “business purposes” (at least, the last time I read it). Seems like a honeypot to me…
0·7 months agoOutputting clean reports is one thing, but “normalizing” the time to make it look better, or as though I’m more busy, is something else entirely. I appreciate the effort, but this tool has the very real potential to get a contractor or employee sued for time fraud. I highly recommend against normalization of time data. The contractor either worked a full 30 or s/he didn’t. It’s black and white. Saying s/he worked for 30 when s/he worked for 25 is a lie, and subject to lawsuits and further legal action.
They don’t care. Is that a good enough reason for you (because it is for them)?
