    I haven’t found a need for it with poultry. I also don’t really cook whole birds, though. Mostly just wings or breasts. I don’t need a thermometer for those.

      Late reply, but man I wish I had that skill. People have given me tips and tricks, I’ve watched YouTube videos, people have coached me through it on the grill and in the kitchen - without a meat thermometer, I can’t cook poultry to dave my life. Its always either raw or bone dry. But, with the Meater… flawless every time
