People have always believed fake news, like someone climbed a hill and there was an omnipotent being hiding from everyone else who gave him some laws. Or that someone was actually the son of that same omnipotent being but in the end died to save everyone and then was resurrected. Or that someone was the last one the omnipotent dictated to and after that he would dictate no more.

And I believe such a solution is within reach. In fact, I think I’ve stumbled upon an idea that could help us get there…I’m currently putting the finishing touches on the concept and plan to publish it in the coming days. This article serves as a prelude

Lol, k. Can’t wait to hear this great solution.

      Ditto.

Wtf, man. Hit “Publish” when you’re ready to say something.

Also, I think a lot could be done to improve this problem just be recognizing the existing institutions that were serving this role that have been severely hampered.

Trusted local news can do a lot. We should find subsidy models that support those.

(I wonder if that’s there brilliant idea. Either that or a superintelligent LLM that magically provides an infallible source of indisputable truth.)

I thought this was a jab at Trump’s “concept of a plan”, but after looking at the article I dunno.

Another narcissist to add to the list apparently. I didn’t read the article, but based on that statement alone, “I’m the one that has the answer to save humanity! I’m all knowing and important!” Vibes coming from that statement.

Unless these thoughts and statements are coming from someone in a position of power to do anything and affect change, its just another internet keyboard warrior saying 'its so simple guys!! Just do X, Y, Z and all will be well!

No. The problem is that misinformation about the climate prevents any problem solving. Thus, misinformation is the biggest issue.
