How does the Moon influence the stability of the Earth’s axial tilt and how does this affect long-term climate conditions and seasonal variations on the planet?

Both bodies tend to slow down its rotation and the moon is getting further away from us. Without the moon there will be no tides and this might have plenty of consequences but it’s not something we should worry soon, same as with the rotation of the Earth.
Does the moon effect it?
I get the collision which caused the moon to form also caused the tilt, but didn’t think it had an ongoing effect.
