I prefer text and don’t want to see YouTube links. Can I do that by configuring Lemmy client or should I do that through uBlock or something similar?

Web on a browser with Ublock Origin extension.
There’s built-in filtering in Eternity but I don’t know how it works.
In Voyager you can block by linked domain. You could add youtube.com and youtu.be
On the default web client, blocking by domain isn’t implemented yet.
