    So all that changed is they ticked a box to include “US” deliveries on their ecommerce platform? I’ll never understand why that was so difficult

      I mean, they might’ve needed to get FCC approvals and other things to sell in the US

        That’s not how the FCC works. They don’t approve things. You follow their standards. If you don’t, they fine you. There is no approval process for devices that must comply wit FCC, UKCA, or CE.

      honestly, it’s probably more than that. you don’t just “tick a box” to send commercial packages to places… like, did you hear about VAT?

        Vat is paid by the customer. In international shipping, the shipping company collects it.

        Any decent ecommerce platform will automatically add the vat to the order, and it’ll be collected by the 3PL provider. It’s not really a business decision. Still just a box to tick
