The problem is not judaism or any other abrahamic religion, but zionism, which is a a ethno-religious supremacist ideology not inherent to judaism.

        Why not both?

Zionism being a problem doesn’t mean actual organized religions (not idealized theoretical ones that don’t exist) aren’t a problem.

          Why not both?

One group risks their lives to break a genocidal blockade.

          Another tortures them for it.

          Both are the same?

because it’s not the problem here. acting like this has anything to do with either religion is ignoring history and colonialism apologia. whether your statement is agreeable in a vacuum is irrelevant. this is like if someone said “acab” after the George Floyd case and you going “also fuck counterfeit bills”.

but of course no one has passed the internet atheist shut the fuck up about your hangups for a goddamn second challenge so i don’t really blame you in particular.

Organize religion has problems, however it must be malleable to change, while headstrong in cores. Something impossibly hard to balance and the crux of most religions.

Zionism is specifically the issue when it comes to religious conversation. The genealogical aspect and nationalistic ideals are brazenly the festering issue in every country. Ego from greatness misunderstood. Christianity being pretty mainstream brought a ‘everyone is invited’ vibe that is just unmatched.

I care to ask how would you solve the major issues you do notice with organized religion? Scripture that condenses the eternal soul is hard to make. Daily ritual is my main thoughts but going too far into ritual removes the knowledge of why things are done. Gatherings are crucial as good and evil only exist when there are two or more.

It’s so bizarre to see religious people fighting for the lives and dignity of their brothers and sisters abroad greater with the same scorn as zealots inflicting brutality and terror.

Blaming the abuser and the victim in equal measure because they both… what? Hold to a superstition?

Kiss a four leaf clover before you lay down your life to break a genocidal blockade and suddenly you’re no better than a mass murderer.
