    Its extremely disturbing, im very hesitant to use the word fascism (as it has been massively over used muting its true meaning) but what we are now seeing is just that. I pray Americans can find a way to stop this insanity.

      No. The meaning has been true for a while. People just ignored the signs because it was inconvenient to stamp it out sooner.

        Im not going to debate this, it has been overused in the last decade leading to people rolling their eyes somewhat when its used.

          No it hasn’t. It’s just that whenever you call a facist a facist they say “You call everyone a facist!”. This is how they work - they deny, delay and downplay any critique.

          And yet, you still replied.

          I’ve been seeing the US slide into fascism for the past 20 years. As long as I’ve been politically aware. Bush Jr set the stage of this problem and while none of the Democrats have been actively fascist, they also haven’t done anyway thing to reverse course either.

          People aren’t rolling their eyes. They’re turning their head because they don’t want to face reality.
