Not exactly free, but if you dont know how to cook, or only eat the same like 3 things, meal kits like Hellofresh and others usually have pretty big sales where you can get food for pretty cheap. It’s a bit of a scam because they say like “17 free meals” but they don’t tell you its spread out over like 10 weeks. So your first box is half off, next one is 40% off, and so forth. BUT, you get to keep recipes that they send you, and then you can just get groceries from the store for like 50% - 80% the price.
Or if you already know how to cook and just want to dove in to recipes, they’re all free online at https://www.hellofresh.com/recipes , I would recommend browsing through when deciding what to eat for the week.
Do be careful I believe Hello Fresh was in trouble for locking you into a full year (multi year) subscription kinda like Adobe. There are other services that are similar but when I did the math for my area it was much more expensive than grocery shopping for the same ingredients
